There are still good honest people in the world! I had my Audi towed and left over night at shop160 received a call before they even opened from MarkI explained what the issue was he explained his process.. 3hrs called me back and told me the issues.. instead of suggesting extraordinarily expensive repairs.. He fixed the problem to the best of his ability due to the issues.. He gave me his professional honest advice and extended a courtesy, My car is running and I am grateful he was personable professional showed empathy and most of just a nice decent human being.. As a woman it is scary having to deal With your car on a mechanical level. I want to say thank you again!!! Many blessings to you and your family.. I recommend this shop to anyone who needs a knowledgeable professional honest courtesy mechanic who works on foreign and domestic and who isn't money hungry and just loves what they do. I'm always skeptical of who works on my vehicles because of an experience I had in the past. But since I have moved to the area shop at 160 is the place to go and been going there for four years. They're upfront about what's going on and have the best prices in the area and do good work. I recently had headlight issue and it was a simple fix to just change the light bulb which I would normally do but thought it was something more. However the front desk knows I have came in several other occasions for work. When I came to pick the vehicle up he told me no charge for fixing the light. I'm not saying they're giving out free light bulbs folks. The point is this shop remembered loyal customers and always treated me with the upmost respect. That's why I will continue to go here for service and recommend others as well.

Mark and the staff at The Shop at 160 are hands down the most professional, honest, and knowledgeable mechanic shop. The are the only mechanic I trust enough to bring my vehicle to. Mark even helped give me guidance when I was looking for a new vehicle. My boyfriend recently made the very costly mistake of taking his BMW to a different shop (specializing in euro cars) that completely did him wrong and he ended up taking it to The Shop at 160 after the first shop made a coolant leak much worse. The Shop at 160 fixed the issue coolant issues exacerbated by the other mechanic shop. You and your vehicle are in safe hands at The Shop at 160. Mark and team will take care of you. I want to add for those reading negative rubbish reviews that has been posted by a few people about this business, I'm not sure what these people expect. I would rather have someone knowledgeable, honest, and caring take care of my vehicle, than someone that lies, tells me what I want to hear, and caters to entitled people, while completely screwing me over (which is what it seems the people negatively reviewing this business must want). Just be smart and take your vehicle to The Shop at 160 for your auto repair and auto maintenance needs.

Mark is the best everytime i have been there he does everything the right way, I had an oil change from those 10 minute oil change a while back and oil started leaking from my pan and I took it to him and he got it rectified and today I took it to him for brake replacement and I thought it just needed the front but he called me and said the rear brakes and rotors were bad and he took care of everything. Don't go anywhere else shop at 160 is going to be my place for all my truck and car repairs and oil changes

My Wrangler sat the local jeep dealership for 4 days with them unable to find and fix my issue. I took it it to see Mark over the shop @ 160. Within less than two hours they found exactly what the problem was with confidence. Saving me an absolute nightmare of a situation where the keep dealership wanted to clean their hands of a problem they were clearly unable to diagnose properly. Hats off to the team @ 160, I will recommend them to my friends.

I am truly thankful for this team of Mechanics. This is the most honest and dependable shop in the area. I want everyone to know that when you take your vehicle to this shop it will be properly diagnosed and repaired and if they can't do it they will tell you the honest truth ( they will tell you where to go ). Proper diagnostic procedures and a honest opinion is the greatest experience a mechanic can give a customer and this place goes above and beyond. Just to let you know Mercedes can't achieve this goal. Mercedes in CLT apparently took a lesson from Super Dave the mechanic.

I'm a single Mom , scared of being ripped off by Mechanics. Tega Cay Moms Referred me to Mark & Ryan . Very Professional , Called told me estimate amount for this & that . I was going to uber to work they took me instead. My Bill was a little less than quoted. I def will be taking my car here even if a need just a oil change etc. This is my to go to place. I feel really comfortable with their honesty . My receipt shows everything in detail even the codes their system brought up that my car needed. Give them a try . Let me just say that Mark is an absolute great & honest guy! I am a single mom & it's hard to cover repairs sometimes. So far i've had 2 recent issues with my car & they have always given me an honest breakdown of what the issue is & fixed it promptly. I've had my 2015 Chevy Cruze for 5 yrs & i've ALWAYS taken it to the dealership but i stopped b/c of the pandemic & they are now closed on Saturdays so i had to find another mechanic & i'm grateful to have found Shop @ 160! My out of town visitors broke down on a Saturday morning. I called the Shop based on their reviews and they helped me get the car towed and let me know they closed at noon. They suggested getting serviced somewhere else because they wouldn't be back until Monday if my visitors needed to get back on the road quickly. The fact that they were willing to help someone they weren't even going to make a dime off of speaks well of them. Class act all the way.

I've been here for a few services and they've been timely and professional for every need. The best part, is that it's a matter of course that they provide good service. It's not an effort on their part. I've done 90% of my auto work in the past, and when I've needed to bring a vehicle in for something I didn't have time or resources to do myself it had always been a fight to get what I paid for. The Shop, however, just does what's right. Zero stress working with these guys. None.

Feb 2020 Update: I had some vibration in my car while driving at highway speeds, so I took my car to Mark. He found the problem, ordered the parts, fixed my car, and charged me a very fair price. I Highly Recommend Mark and the guys at The Shop @ 160. Courteous, polite, and professional. I wouldn't take my care anywhere else. Thanks Mark. I left my car at The Shop @ 160 for the first time for an oil change, and asked them to also check my brakes. Mark called me to inform me of an issue he found on my engine, and sent me a picture. He also let me know that my brake pads were in good condition, and they did not need to be replaced. Mark, thanks for the service. It is nice to find a garage, where you can trust the mechanic. Any other garage would have changed my brakes whether it was needed or not. As for the issue, I will be notifying the previous place I had my car serviced and ask them why they did what they did. Thanks for explaining the cost of the oil change; you are still cheaper than other places. I will be bringing my car back for continued service.
